Two Turtle Doves

On the Second Day of Christmas...
...my true love gave to me - two turtle doves...

Life is precious and required for our future.

I often present babies in the womb seeking to disguise themselves to be more acceptable to "progressive" society. The shame is the need to present them as other than our own children.

Lord, lead us not into temptation...

The religion of Choice promotes options as if there were no consequences. Life is full of challenges for all of us - who we are is dependent on how we respond. Temptation is a great challenge.

Response to Fear

It seems that the general public is swayed only when a direct threat presents itself. Yet, even when a call to action is MORE appropriate - America (and the world) remain insistent on abortion.

What could be more compelling than the protection of innocent life. Yet, we remain blinded by noise of progressive advancement in fictitious potential futures that remain unfulfilled. The fulfillment of life is always shared with the love of others - not through the dismissal of our offspring.

Unarmed Innocence

There are none more innocent than the unborn. Yet, we condemn 1,000,000 of our own each year - "our own."

Choose Life.

"Selfish Gene"

Richard Dawkin's "selfish gene" is not an explanation, it is a rationalization and an excuse.

Where does Baby Oil come from?

Baby Oil comes from...
All mom's dream of a smooth birth. What a glorious birthday! But, if Olive Oil is made from olives, what is Baby Oil made from?

Full-Term

Quite possibly, the first thought that occurred to you here is that the child is ready to be born. If this is accurate, I applaud you. Your sensibilities to life are the fulfillment to our humanity. What is life without a future?
Alternately, "I am done" could well mean that we are at the mercy of others. In America, location of the child continues to allow for it's destruction without consequence - the child can be "aborted" until birth (and in the minds of some - we have come to the threshold of allowing their termination after birth!). We are all at the mercy of others?

No Skipping Please

When we artificially cause implantation to fail, this is where the Catholic Church holds firm that our actions are against the will of God. In Matthew 5:21-30, Jesus speaks to us about avoiding sin (murder, anger). Jesus does not condemn us having sinful desires (don't we all have desires - especially in anger?). Jesus condemns dwelling on illicit desires - like wanting to kill someone or having sex outside of marriage. Our desires too often drive our sinful actions. Christ shows us a better Way.

Dangerous Times

Of course, it remains just as dangerous in the womb as it was yesterday. In times past, the safest place to be would have been within the womb. Save the child, save the world.

Gee Wally...

Ponder me this. Will pro-choice rally-ers eventually become extinct. In our imperfect world - who knows. Only future generations will see the final chapter of our failure to step up for humanity.

The fiction of the War on Women can be said to be a real War on Babies.

Don't be PP

The great triumphs of American history are stained with failures along our path. Now, we have all left the luster of our childhood America to the past. Abortion and it's arguments "for" the intentional slaughter of the unborn are our rationalized "American Holocaust." We can do better.

We must do better.

It's a BOY!

Euphemisms aside, a child was mangled at PP. A child is mangled every day at PP - approximately 4,000 daily. STOP the insanity!

America Ignores PP Videos

How is it that so many remain ignorant to the videos that capture the atrocities at PP? Could it be because less than 2% of air time covering the PP videos from the major networks while covering other "news-worthy" pieces? Do we really care more about Caitlyn? Or Kim Kardashian? America has become the puppet to mainstream media.

We must remember...
“Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
Martin Luther King Jr.

The recent failure of Congress to defund PP is a prime example of MLK's "sincere ignorance."

Tissue Please....

Word gets around that you can get a lot of money for fetal tissue. Euphemistically, of course.

...and Edith too!!!

Come On PP, You Can't Have Your Cake...and Edith Too!
It seems #PP would love to take our dollars harvesting baby body parts for money...uh, research. Shame on us for ever believing their lies. How is it that #PP can claim the unborn are not human beings and alternately harvest the "human" body parts - and yes, at a profit?

ILL-Logic

How is it that  sells human fetal body "specimens" and concurrently claims that the unborn are NOT HUMAN BEINGS?

Donate Someone Else's Organs...

So, let's get this straight. People are convincing themselves that it's a good thing to donate the baby's organs for medical research. So, I've heard of donating "our own" organs. Many are organ donors and we each make that call for ourselves. But when has it become acceptable to donate organs from another person? Oh wait, we have decided that the unborn are NOT persons. The inconsistent logic is overwhelming.

The pro-choice mantra of a woman controlling her own body conflicts with the argument in donating "fetal tissue" or "the baby's organs" to help others. This certainly would alleviate a guilty conscience. But, how does the mantra conflict?

The conflict arises when claims of controlling one's own body reveal the fine line promoted by "choicers" as false. The unborn are no more the "body" of their mother than any other individual on the planet. We are all separate individuals. Try as we might, refusal to acknowledge this simple fact to support abortion will never change this reality.

Island of Unwanted Children

No child should ever feel unwanted. My mind goes back to the Island of Unwanted Toys from the old Rankin/Bass "stop motion animation" classic, Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. The world has effectively created an Island of Unwanted Children. A fantasy? Unfortunately for greater than 55,000,000 lost children since Roe vs. Wade in the US alone, it is closer to a reality. But, that reality falls on deaf ears.

These 55 million people will never experience the American Dream. No life, no first steps. No first words. No first day of school. No graduation. No marriage. No children of their own - our grand children. Our fastidious society is no longer concerned with relegating unwanted children to orphanages. Now, the easy "ultimate solution" is Out of sight, out of mind. Seems familiar. Can you guess which historical era aligns closely to our current world view?

The silence is deafening.

Back to the ClassWomb

"If abortion is the answer, it must be a really stupid question." - unknown

I recall having a conversation with a good friend many years ago that the choice of abortion is the most selfish act one can make. Many will argue that their life will be much better without a child complicating the picture. They convince themselves that they are not ready to be a parent - they are already a parent. Quite frankly, the camp is simply pro-poor choice. We all have choices. We choose to help our brothers and sisters in life or we choose to ignore others in need.

My biggest gripe is that I am being asked to support poor choices under the guise of individual rights. Selfish choice is nothing to be lauded. One is delusional to righteously choose to destroy another human being... their own child no less.

Baby-cide

These days many choicers have shifted to a flat-out-me-first mentality. At least they are being honest with themselves and the world. First rule is "do no harm" - a far cry from Christ's teaching to love thy neighbor but certainly a worthy goal.
