So, let's get this straight. People are convincing
themselves that it's a good thing to donate the baby's organs for medical
research. So, I've heard of donating "our own" organs. Many are
organ donors and we each make that call for ourselves. But when has it become
acceptable to donate organs from another person? Oh wait, we have decided that
the unborn are NOT persons. The inconsistent logic is overwhelming.
The pro-choice mantra of a woman controlling her own body
conflicts with the argument in donating "fetal tissue" or "the
baby's organs" to help others. This certainly would alleviate a guilty
conscience. But, how does the mantra conflict?
The conflict arises when claims of controlling one's own
body reveal the fine line promoted by "choicers" as false. The unborn
are no more the "body" of their mother than any other individual on
the planet. We are all separate individuals. Try as we might, refusal to acknowledge this simple
fact to support abortion will never change this reality.
