Citing that your own child is a leach within your womb is a dishonest position. Though many born children are often referred to as "leaches" by "parents" seeking to blame their children for their own misfortune, we all bear a responsibility to care for our own children. And yes, as our brother's keeper, to care for the children of the world. 

Can we not agree is it better to spend $500 Million on our brothers and sisters in need? Some will claim that $500 Million will only be a drop in the bucket. But, a journey starts with the first step.

History Repeats and Repeats...

Just as we have failed to keep our covenants with God. We fail to learn from history. The lesson seems to be that we continue to place our selfish, personal desires over the needs of others.

From the mouths of babes, it is cold out there in the world. Many remain blinded by motives that seem reasonable as long as the neglect to recognize the unique life in the womb. The longer we remain steadfast to false realities, the colder the heart grows.

As we approach nearly  60,000,000 abortions in the US alone since 1973, hope that hearts will open to the blindness of abortion seems ever more possible.
