Prophetic Womb

It was actually "post-vitro" so, it is not quite prophetic. When your children are young, know what they are up to, most especially when it gets "really quiet."

When our oldest was a young and curious toddler, mommie discovered him experimenting with the baby powder. Baby powder makes excellent "instant clouds"!!

Mime

A mime is a terrible thing to waste...

And so it is also with the lost unborn. Our failure to recoginize the humanity of the unborn has robbed us of many friends and family.

Don't waste yours...

MAYAN-SCHMAYAN!

It is not like any of us were thinking otherwise, but we are still here today - just as we were yesterday.

Carry on.

Entolmology Humor from Wannababies

December 2012 brings a "bug" that seems to tag everyone we know locally and across the US. So, Wannababies is sharing a bit of entomology humor this week.

Becoming...

D.Q. McInerny's "Principle of the Excluded Middle" cites that "between being and non-being there is no middle state." Lest we forget.

For anything to be "becoming" it must first be.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!

I am what I am...

Elzie Crisler Segar, the original creator of Popeye, got it right way back in 1929. D.W.McInery re-affirmed the same in 2005. "A thing is what it is."

Many, who are of my age, recall Popeye's constant quote, "I YAM WHAT I YAM" from our childhood cartoons. Not surprisingly, this is the first of four essential principles of logic. It is also a foundation for the pro-life perspective and an EPIC FAIL on the part of our own Supreme Court in the Roe vs. Wade decision of 1973. The Supreme Court turned a blind eye to this primary element in their arguments for "potential" life. And FAILED to recognize the unborn child "exists". It is. It grows. It develops within the womb. Funny. It develops outside the womb too.

Sacrificial Lambs 2012

Will Religious Freedom and the Unborn be the sacrificial lambs left in the wake of the Obama Administration? America has spoken with faith in a hypothetical fiscal plan based on historical assumptions (Clinton's supposed success - which, by the way, many still consider carryover of Reagonomics).

The faith bestowed now in O rests on the shoulders of the greatest abortion supporter ever to sit in the White House. While I can support trying anything for a better economy and a better America. I will continue to refuse to ever willingly to support the destruction of innocent life.

O and HHS tell us that we won't have to pay for abortion or abortificents in our Health Care. Such a statement is flighty. It is like saying that taxpayer dollars do not and will not be used for abortions while supporting Planned Parenthood with millions of taxpayer dollars for "mamograms" (which, again, PP does not perform). Those dollars are blood money.

Bracing for the Worst

Wannababies prays for the best outcome with the upcoming election, but recognizes that our fellow citizens have historically discounted "life" as a pivotal issue or neglect "life" issues altogether giving greater value to other issues.

Past elections have resulted in pro-abortion Presidents. None more so than our incumbent Prez.

With the risk to religious freedoms and coercion to force healthcare workers to commit abortions, the entire electorate becomes complicit in the deaths of millions of unborn. We did it in 2008 with full knowledge of Senator Obama's record. Are we poised to do it again?

30 Pieces for Pie!

Our "choice" is clear. One candidate is clearly "the pre-eminent pro-abortion supporter." Will we be complicit in the destruction of over 1,000,000 unborn innocent children each year?

Vote Life 2012

One vote is a certain death sentence for over 1,000,000 unborn babies every year in the US alone. This election is not only a matter of life or death, it is a matter for our very souls.

Human Personhood

One would think the term "human personhood" is redundant. No one can be the first without being the second.

In 1819, the US Supreme Court determined that a "corporation" must be treated with the same entitlements as an individual citizen. But, under the infamous Dred Scott case in 1857, African slaves and their descendents were determined "non-citizens" and not entitled to sue in US courts. Dred Scott was determined to have "no standing" to sue for his own freedom. Are you outraged?

The Court repeated the same error in 1973 when declaring "privacy" to trump the 1st Amendment "right to life."

Then, 1st Amendment rights took precedence when the Courts re-affirmed the "corporation's" entitlement to "free speech" as an individual in the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA) case in 2010.

So, in the end, the First Amendment takes precedence (as it should). However, the Courts apply "personhood" to a fictitious entity in one case and fails to apply actual "personhood" to the more obvious unborn. Does anyone else see "conflict of interest" in these cases?

Impose Beliefs

The greatest cop-outs reach the highest levels of hubris. When VP Joe Biden cited:

"With regard to -- with regard to abortion, I accept my church's position on abortion as a -- what we call a (inaudible) doctrine. Life begins at conception in the church's judgment. I accept it in my personal life.

But I refuse to impose it on equally devout Christians and Muslims and Jews, and I just refuse to impose that on others, unlike my friend here, the -- the congressman. I -- I do not believe that we have a right to tell other people that -- women they can't control their body."

Why not just toss out the entire Ten
Commandments Joe? The very foundation of our common law is anchored in the Ten Commandments.

When pro-choice advocates cite their commitment to allow others to follow their own choice, it is a slippery slope argument at best. Of course, we all have choice. But, our choices dictate our path to God or away from HIM. The "choice" of taking another individual's life cannot be painted over with euphemisms or ever forgotten.

Do tell, what part of a mother's body is missing after having suffered an abortion?

From the Mommie...

Standard response when anyone one of my siblings and I were asked the question, "Where are you from?" Response, "My Mommie."

Typical of San Miguel family humor, but true today as it ever was.

Redistribution vs LIFE

Redistribution or LIFE? That is the question.

Do we commit our votes to help ourselves through redistribution or do we vote for LIFE? When these options are strategically placed at odds with each other, there still remains only one option to save lives as well as our souls.

Termination for Convenience

Wannababies asks the question, "Why does America manage LIFE's issues making RULES out of the exceptions?"

Baby Sale

Unfortunately, "baby sale" is not far from the truth. With Pepsi recently withdrawing the use of fetal tissue in their product testing, other industries continue in the practice to include cosmetics.

Share a grin with Wannababies this week. 1Kgs 19: 4-8. Elijah travels 40 days and 40 nights after God provides "hearth bread and a jug of water." We read how this occured under a "broom tree." And, we are reminded, again, God provides.

Chick-fil-A

Leaps in logic should never influence freedom of speech nor ever force endorsement of activity contrary to our faith. At the end of the day, we can all support "love of neighbor" even in a secular society. But, certainly in regard to Chick-fil-A, there is no surprise here.

Pain During Pregnancy

Tongue in cheek, of course. There can be many pains during pregnancy. Wannababies offers only one explanation.

Limb From Limb

Per Obama, obamacare is "not a tax." What obamacare is saying is that "...we are not going to be having other people carrying your burdens for you." Wow! Really? The same obamacare that covers abortificients and abortion coverage requirements. Seems like I am being told I MUST carry the burden for the poor decisions of others. Can anybody say "double-standard"?

Sunday, July 8, 2012

Wannababies reminds us that LIFE is a continuuum and "location" does NOT define the essence of individual LIFE. Individual LIFE begins at conception.

WAR ON WOMEN

There has been a "War on Women" for over 40 years... on unborn baby girls AND unborn baby boys as well. Abortion totals nearing 55,000,000 in the US alone.

Saline Cure

What cause would the unborn have to suspect anything other than to be "cured."

"Saline Abortion: An injection of a chemical solution consisting of either saline, urea, or prostaglandin through the abdomen and into the amniotic sac."

- WIKIPEDIA.

"UREA"? Really?

Man Up

Double entendre - and a call to action. The evil of abortion remains "legal" with the participation of men. MAN UP guys...

Abortion will remain legal as long as we men fail to take responsibility for our actions in hedonistic participation in creating ill-conceived situations. Our actions, and in-actions, create the situations which contribute to the greatest tragedy known to mankind and the de-valuation of human life itself.

We continue to participate in the many reasons requiring the sacrifice of Christ on our behalf. We need not be complicit.

Christ is Risen - Hallelujah!!

Make Your Choice

With every "choice," we stand at the "Foot of the Cross." Make your choice...

"Palm" Sunday...

A day of "palms" all too often repeated. In the US alone, greater than 55,000,000 lives have been sacrificed to "CHOICE" since 1973.

Plausible Deniability

Each defeat of Ultrasound Bills in various states (many have succeeded) makes me wonder if opponents are simply retaining their plausible deniability...as if that wll help them come judgement day!

"Choice" is an Onerous Term

"Onerous" - certainly burdensome for those who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy. Given the current mainstream media's approach to "choice", oppression - in some cases, coercion - has not become uncommon. Whether it is parents of the mother or "fathers" of the child or even "the state" such as in China, it has become too easy to dismiss life.

No Intrinsic Value = Equality

There are those that claim that the right to life is a fallacy given that humans have no greater value than any other living creature. Therefore, the beliefs of others allowing for the killing of unborn, is "no big deal." So, we have to ask, "Is there anyone, any person, in our lives that we consider as having no value?"  If someone were to take the life of someone we consider as valuable in your own life, do we have a foundation to charge that killer with the murder of our loved one? If none of us have any value, that fundamental foundation dissipates. The logical conclusion would be that murder itself need not be illegal. Does anyone really believe that?

I, for one, do not concur. All life has intrinsic value.

Additional comment - isn't it interesting that in a society based on the concept that "all men are created equal", we seem to constantly try to show (in our actions and in our words) how we are better than the next person? We do it when boasting. We do it when driving - we always seem to have to be in front of the guy ahead of us. Of course, we are always behind the next guy. Just a thought.

So too, it is that we MUST be able to control all aspects of our livelihood to the extent that anything - anything - that interferes may be pushed aside, including the life of another human being. It is a slippery slope to anarchy when we have made such "choices."

The Last Mile

We often hear about people who use music during pregnancy to expand the prepare our children even before birth. Just how much do the unborn hear and understand? Abortion is a death sentence for the unborn, but we never offer the "last meal" for them...

2012

Prayers that 2012 will be a year of great conversion and awakening to "choicers" and that LIFE has a great year.
